When and where do I take the exam?

Currently all PMI® exams can be taken through an online portal via the host Pearson VUE. The exams can be scheduled 24/7 so you’ll be able to find a time slot that works for you. All online exams are proctored so you will need a webcam and microphone, much like you would need for an online meeting. When exams can be hosted in testing centers, you will be able to choose your location based on where you live and schedule accordingly.

What do I need to do in order to sit for the PMP exam?

Before you apply, make sure you meet one of the following sets of PMP Certification requirements: A four-year degree, 36 months leading projects, and 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification — OR — a high school diploma or an associate’s degree (or global equivalent), 60 months leading projects, and 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification
